UNA-Germany's Study Trips

Since 2007, UNA-Germany's Federal Association has offered regular study trips to its members. The trips lead members primarily through former conflict zones in which the UN has engaged in peacekeeping operations. Within the framework of this educational opportunity, UNA-Germany's members learn:

  • the political, economic and social situations that many countries face
  • which stabilizing and reconstructive measures can be taken by states emerging from civil war
  • which challenges UN organizations confront while engaging in peacekeeping operations.
